ProfilationMAINSTREET 300: The engine is the well tested and reliable unit already assembled on the Monarch 250, now bored up achieving while a total effective displacement of 275 cc. A different set up of the automatic transmission and clutch has been designed to achieve a smoother running ability along with a quicker response to the throttle opening. The brake system features front and rear disc brakes both with two piston caliper and sintered metal pads. The front forks, with 35mm. diameter stanchion pipes, features along with the two rear hydraulic shock absorber a smooth riding even in historic Italian city downtown streets. The big seat is roomy for rider and pillion and the distance from the footrests is enough to ensure long riding without cramp legs. A wide under seat trunk can store two jet type helmets, while additional devices can be put into a hollow in the leg shield, The windscreen has been designed to ensure at the mean time an useful weather protection and a good drag coefficient. The meter set, assembled in a new design instrument panel, features along with the speedometer/odometer, the fuel gauge, the cooling liquid temperature gauge and warning lights for all the main electric devices. The MAIN STREET line is mainly distinguished by the innovative shape of the front and rear lights assy that makes exclusive its line.
